About the ECCC

The ECCC is a group of local community members organized to promote the public good and the welfare of the El Cerrito community. The executive body of the ECCC is the Board of Directors. The current board was elected on March 17th, 2006.

Community council membership is open to any individual at least 18 years of age and residing or owning property within the El Cerrito community, or any business owner whose place of business is within the El Cerrito community. As of March 2004, 333 active council members belong to the ECCC.

Membership applications can be picked up at any Council meeting. We encourage you to join us and help make this a better community for all.
